INNTRA, Innovative Trauma Relief Access,

A new vision of child care

INNTRA was founded by Virginie Morel (Child Rights Advocate & Public Health Researcher) in collaboration with Felicity Pocklington (Anthropologist and Senior Public Health Expert), and Mrs. Laetitia de Schoutheete (Psychologist and Trauma Specialist) to offer an effective answer to address children and adolescents' emotional, psychological and physical distress in various settings.

With years of experience in various fields relating to child protection and children health, we are convinced that an effective approach to children psycho-social care must be both scientific and holistic in nature. Our programs stem from global empiric research and are adaptable in order to fit each context worldwide. Our approach, based on compassion and respect, offers  measurable results and is always developed in close collaboration with local partners within the community.

Problem and consequences

From general anxiety (originating from  interpersonal, social or academic pressure, social media, bullying and harassment, or the Coronavirus crisis) to maltreatment or even abuse (sexual, physical, psychological or neglect), it is clear that today, children and adolescents are confronted to a staggering amount of adverse life events which, left unaddressed, are known to lead to acute anxiety, behavioral and cognitive disorders and other developmental, physical and emotional impairments.
